COMMENT: Generally, the employer identifies which ten (10) topics are applicable
to the workplace. Training is then applied in one hour formats to each of the
ten topics.

This program is focused from the employee's
point of view. After attending, participants begin a self evaluation of
their daily approach to working safely. Persons working in
industry are required to attend. Managers and supervisors may
find the 30 HOUR Out Reach Program format more applicable. |

Thirty Hour OSHA Compliance Course
This course is designed for middle management and first-line supervisors. Again,
the employer usually selects the ten most applicable topics, and training format
focuses 3 hours of training per topic.
As above, participants will review major OSHA standards and have questions
answered about OSHA procedures. Participants completing the 30-Hour Class will
receive a certificate of completion.
CDTA also offers OSHA Courses in Permit Required Confined Space Entry, Trench
Safety, Hazardous waste Management, HazWopper, Asbestos Abatement, and many
other recommended OSHA Programs.

The course covers all MAP requirements plus Type "C" air supply
systems. The hands-on part of includes respirator care and
servicing, Glove Bag removal, setting full containment, full
suit up with pressure demand respirator and practicing a simulated
abatement. |

| Class I Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor Course |

This course is for persons who oversee the asbestos abatement project
and supervise asbestos work. The course includes the above material,
taught from the supervisor's point of view, plus recordkeeping, safety,
and supervisor techniques. It is also the minimum required for
Competent Person training for either Class I or II Asbestos abatement work

approved skills to minimize their exposure to asbestos fibers. This course

persons who perform clean-up work in buildings which contain Asbestos

AHERA rules. It also qualifies an individual to perform building
inspections which meet the requirements of ASHARA. |
